As Australia gears up for a monumental election year, the award-winning Pathways to Politics for Women program proudly opens its doors for national applications.
With over 50 program alums expected to run in local and state elections across the country in 2024, Pathways to Politics for Women exemplifies the growing momentum of diverse women in shaping Australia’s political landscape.
From providing comprehensive training and mentorship opportunities to fostering a supportive community of aspiring female leaders from all sides of politics, Pathways to Politics for Women has played a pivotal role in advancing gender diversity and inclusion in Australian politics.
We’re offering full attendance grants to women and gender-diverse people who play active leadership roles in their community but are unable to attend due to lack of funding or employer support.
These grants cover the full ticket price for the recipient to attend the Symposium of their choice. Through this initiative we’re supporting the development of a pipeline of leaders in different communities, and ensuring diverse views are represented at the events. The grants will be awarded to current and aspiring women and gender diverse leaders.
Applications close 7 weeks prior to each Symposium. All applicants will be contacted 6 weeks prior to their chosen event to be informed of the outcome of their application.
We've partnered with several organisations to co-design workshops that equip and empower women in leadership.
We regularly connect with First Nations and CARM women leaders through our Advisory Panels and women's alliances.
